Only the highest quality standards are accepted at DACHSER & KOLB in the entire corporate culture, whether internally or from partners. To ensure that our removals and our Relocation Service propositions run smoothly and the resulting in customer satisfaction, we are constantly orienting ourselves towards optimizing our processes. This process-orientated and process-optimizing approach to customer requests is emphasized by numerous regular awards. For example, we provide "Highest Reliability", "Highest Customer Loyalty" and are considered a "Top Employer".
We have requested that our compliance with quality standards be certified by an official body and be manifested through association memberships.
Needless to say, a promise of quality is of particular value once it has been officially verified by an independent body. Hence why DACHSER & KOLB has requested that a DEKRA Certification Program certify whether the quality management complies with the requirements of the most widespread and important standard. The ISO-NORM 9001:2015 exhibits that internal processes in a company comply to the international standard for quality management. Companies that claim this standard for themselves, benefit from these standards by minimizing the susceptibility of errors in the processes as well as the requirement of continuous improvement in the quality of products and services.
The high-quality implementation of removals and the resulting customer satisfaction has always been an elementary part of the range of services offered by DACHSER & KOLB and therefore was able to easily pass the certification. In conjunction with the main branch in Kempten, the branches in Munich, Ravensburg, Frankfurt, Koblenz, Cologne and Düsseldorf have also been successfully certified.
As a moving company, DACHSER & KOLB has expanded over the years from a Moving Provider to a Global Mobility Partner. Intercontinental moves form part of our daily business, and when it comes to cross-border moves, it goes without sayin that our quality standards and awareness is just as high as it is for national removal services. For precisely this reason, we have allowed ourselves to be audited by the international Allianz FIDI for a FAIM certificate (FIDI Accredited International Mover). More than 200 quality criterias were queried and placed under a microscope in an extensive audit. The FAIM quality designation is the only internationally recognized quality certification in the moving industry. The head office in Kempten has been certified, the certificate is valid for a period of three years and must then successfully pass the recertification.
In an effort to guarantee complete transparency of the quality standards, DACHSER & KOLB is also a member of various associations that ensure sustainable quality.
The AMÖ comprises of approximately 800 companies, including removal carriers, new furniture logistics companies and companies for special logistics. In order to be a member of the AMÖ, the removal companies have to distinguish themselves through a high degree of professional competence. In addition to a professional and outstanding service, AMÖ members also earn points for their responsible approach to the environment and social aspects of their business. In order to ensure quality and customer-oriented services, the participating member companies are audited annually within the framework of a neutral quality assessment.
The National Association of Bavarian Freight Forwarders is another association in which the removals logistics specialist is a member of. Here as well, all members are supported with respect to quality. The LBS negotiates respective collective wage and salary agreements as well as the collective agreement for the freight forwarding and logistics industry in Bavaria. This ensures fair remuneration and optimal working conditions for all employees.
Last but not least, the moving experts are also members of the International Association of Movers, which is the world's largest trade association in the transport and forwarding industry. The Association has more than 2,000 members who are active in over 170 countries. In addition to optimizing quality and increasing seriousness, the members commit to fair and honest competition, which benefits the entire industry.
