Offering the highest quality standards for all of our services - this is not just a promise for us. To ensure that our quality commitment is also officially confirmed, we have undergone the certification process for both the ISO 9001:2015 standard and the FIDI-FAIM.
The ISO 9001:2015 standard (link to https://www.dekra.de/de/iso-9001-zertifizierung/#elementnull01) proves that internal processes within a company are in accordance with the international standard for quality management. Companies that claim this standard benefit from the minimization of susceptibility to errors in processes as well as the claim of continuous improvement in the overall quality of products and services.
In addition to the head office in Kempten, the branches in Munich, Ravensburg, Frankfurt, Koblenz, Cologne and Düsseldorf have also been certified.
As a Moving Logistics Company, DACHSER & KOLB has evolved over the years to become a Global Mobility Partner. Intercontinental moves are our "daily business", and it goes without saying that our awareness regarding quality standards extends to cross-border moves in the same way as it does to national moving services. We therefore had ourselves certified by the international alliance FIDI for a FAIM certificate (FIDI Accredited International Mover) (link to https://www.fidi.org/about-fidi/fidi-services/FAIM). In an extensive audit, over 200 quality criteria were scrutinized and put under the microscope. The FAIM quality certification is the only internationally recognized quality standard in the moving industry. Moreover, due to the additional national ISO certification, we are also proud to have been awarded the FAIM-PLUS Certificate. Our head office in Kempten has been certified, and the certificate is valid for a period of three years, after which it must be passed again.
In order to guarantee its high quality standards in a completely transparent manner, DACHSER & KOLB is also a member of various associations that ensure that sustainable quality standards are maintained.
The AMÖ (link to https://www.amoe.de/) currently comprises of approximately 800 companies, which include moving companies, new furniture logistics companies as well as companies for specialized logistics. Before a company can become a certified member of the AMÖ, it must demonstrate a high level of professional and competence. Alongside excellent service, AMÖ members also score points for their responsible approach to the environment and society. In order to ensure quality and customer-oriented service, each participating company is assessed annually within the framework of a neutral quality audit.
The LBS (link to https://www.lbs-spediteure.de/) is another association in which we are a member. The LBS negotiates relevant wage and salary agreements as well as the collective agreement for the forwarding and logistics industry in Bavaria. This ensures fair remuneration and optimal working conditions for all employees.
The IAM (link to https://www.iamovers.org/) is the world's largest trade association for the transportation and freight forwarding industry. With more than 2,000 members, the association operates in over 170 countries. In addition to optimizing quality and increasing integrity and professionalism, the members are committed to ensuring fair and honest competition, which is beneficial to the industry as a whole.
The FIDI (Fédération Internationale des Déménageurs Internationaux; The Federation of International Movers) (link to https://www.fidi.org/) is committed to providing the highest standards of quality, sustainability and integrity in the global moving logistics industry. In addition to stringent quality standards, FIDI is committed to sustainable and high-quality collaborations between different entities in the Global Mobility industry, thus safeguarding the future of this industry in an international context. " With regards to quality, we do not make any compromises" is a guiding principle of FIDI, which has already been adopted by more than 600 professional moving companies in more than 100 countries worldwide.
